Literacia em saúde em faixas etárias mais jovens: perceções sobre cuidados com a saúde Pessoas informadas serão pessoas mais preparadas

Antecedentes: Os Jovens e adolescentes estão a usar cada vez mais as plataformas digitais para diversos fins, incluindo aspetos de saúde, que não são lineares sobre se consideram ou não importantes informações sobre saúde.
Objetivos: Estudo exploratório com 51 indivíduos de 17 a 25 anos para verificar a sua perceção sobre os problemas de saúde.
Metodologia: Para este estudo, foi elaborado um questionário com 10 perguntas fechadas, distribuído via online na rede social Facebook, aplicado a 51 adolescentes do sexo masculino e feminino, universitários, com idades entre 17 e 25 anos, residentes na região portuguesa de Lisboa.
Conclusões e relevância: os jovens querem saber sobre sua saúde, mas acham que devem fazer essa pesquisa. Por outro lado, a pesquisa de informações em saúde e o uso de competências demonstram uma falha no acesso a informações confiáveis/credíveis assim como o processamento e compreensão das mesmas.
